NOTICE TO ALL NEWLY ADMITTED 100L STUDENTS...

"FUTO SCHOOL HOSTELS & LODGES(OFF CAMPUS)"

It is no longer news that the Prestigious Federal University Of Technology Owerri is going to resume her 2017/2018 session from Sunday 3rd December, 2017.

All newly admitted 100L students are expected to come into FUTO Residence, starting from Sunday 3rd December, 2017.
Registration for newly admitted 100L students is expected to kick of from Monday 4th December, 2017.

Over the years, Freshmen are sometimes misguided via making choices of accommodation. They always make mistakes, probably due to the Myopic views of Old students about the choice of accommodation.
I want to enlighten you on the accommodation status in FUTO (Between School Hostel & Lodges).

FUTO SCHOOL HOSTELS

1) Learning/Solving your assignments won't be a problem. You will always find someone to teach & assist you. Hostel fee is Very Cheap!

There is also constant Power & water supply. The School hostel is very close to your lecture halls.

2) The Population isn't always favourable (8 for guys & 12 for girls, a very large room). This builds up your conscious memory. You will learn how to manage your belongings properly.
There isn't much Privacy in the hostel. That's why you will always be security conscious, sleeping carelessly won't be in your dictionary.

3) Socialization won't actually be a problem. You will get to meet the female folks. You will have a chance to meet & interact with as many girls as you want.

4) I guess you don't expect the toilets to be as convenient as the ones in your various homes..?? It is quite good. You share a toilet with just your roommates. Therefore CONTRACTION of any type of DISEASE is highly not possible.

5) External robbery attacks will never come. There are over 400 students in the hostel and moreover, the security outfits in school, the Man O' War, Brigade, Military, Green Men etc are on guard 24/7.

FUTO LODGES (OFF CAMPUS)

1) Very comfortable & private. You have your kitchen, your toilet & bathroom inside your apartment.
No need to go outside.

2) The funny thing about staying off campus is that you might even be the only person from your level & department in that lodge unlike the hostel where you find a lot of them.

3) The presence of Man O' War(60℅ reason hostel occupants behave themselves) in the hostel, brings Order but in off campus lodges, people behave anyhow they want to.

4) There is no constant power & water supply unlike the school hostel.

5) You are prone to robbery attack. The type of robbery angry thieves come with Guns unlike the hostel that is secured. Although you can also live in a Lodge for a whole year and still nobody will attack you(it is on probability).
