POS machine is now used for withdrawal purposes all over Nigeria. It is a faster way of withdrawing your money from your bank account ( whereby you slot in your pin into the POS machine, they input the amount, you input your pin, it prints out the debit slip, you are debited blah blah blah).

Making use of the POS machine in withdrawal is fast & snappy.
In FUTO, there is only but one Bank that serves the whole school. Most times we get frustrated with the type of queue at the bank, the Scorch sun, the absent of seats within the bank premises, etc. we would definitely want to use the POS machine which is faster.

Withdrawing through POS machine, is a Lovely experience, but the rate at which POS withdrawal business is increasing in FUTO(especially at Old Registry) is becoming alarming.
Therefore the need to be PROactive & Conscious is PARAMOUNT.

We have to be more careful now than ever. When you come to Old Registry, you would see young ladies who are Supposed POS machine attendants fighting for customers to withdraw from them(maybe because of the profit the make per every #1,000 withdrawal).

You need to see the rush!...So interesting how the rush customers. This tells me one thing, "SCAM ALERT!!!"

FUTOITES be aware of POS Scammers.
"Not all that glitters is Gold". Yes!, POS withdrawal process is sharp & smooth, but don't think that everyone who is claiming to be  a POS attendant is actually out for Service to Humanity.

FUTOITES, be mindful of the person who is attending to you. The numbers on your ATM card that the machine might collect in the process of transaction, can be used to Hack your account. Seeing your password would make the work easier. Make sure you don't allow the attendant to see your password.
In fact, input your password like an " Albino would"(figuratively).

I advice you all, to go to registered & popular business centers that also deal on POS withdrawal business like MCM(at NDDC hostel), BJ Services (at Old registry) to make your withdrawal. Although most times, it might be populated, but you have to be patient especially since you can't wait for the queue at the Bank.
