DISCLAIMER!! — Massive Google phishing hack! Don't click that link‼

If you get an email today sharing a Google Docs file with you, don't click it – you may mistakenly make Public your Gmail account details (inbox and contacts) to a mysterious hacker.

The harmful email contains what appears to be a link to a Google Doc file.

This redirects you to a legitimate Google.com page asking you to authorize "Google Docs" to access to your Gmail account.

Once you authorize it to access your account, it copy's your account details and sends out more spam to all your contacts.

The attack has spread like wildfire, and is already at an inbox near you!

If you already clicked the link, you need to go back to your Google account and "Revoke Access" to the app.

The Process to "Revoke Access" is listed below......

  1. Log in to your Google account Restructuring page here through this link:  https://goo.gl/DVL1GM

  2. If you see an app called Google Docs, click on it to opt in to revoke permission for the app to access your Google account details.

  3. Then change your password, just to be safe.
