FG TO PAY UP ASUU'S EARNED ALLOWANCES

The federal government has resorted to pay the N23 billion Naira which she owes the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) between 2009 to 2010.

This was decided in the resolutional document between the Senate committee on Tertiary Institutions/Tetfund, ASUU, NUC, Federal Ministry Of Education and other Stakeholders.

In the document, they also stated that the federal government will pay N1 billion Naira for 6 months, while the balance till 2016 would be concluded at the end of the forensic audit of Varsities accounts.
