Civil Servants Protest Against Early Payment Of December Salaries

Cross rivers Civil Service workers popularly called Civil Servants, on Friday 2nd December Protested against the ideal of paying workers salaries in the first week of every month by the state Government.

Workers usually receive their salaries at the 25th day of the month but the state government has resorted to paying it in the first week.

This would be the second time this is happening as it first occurred in May this year during the commemoration of workers' day ceremony by Governor Ayade.

The angry Protestants complained that the idea of paying their salaries in advance especially during this December would make us suffer in due cause even as Christmas approaches.
