2016 Top five Summer Transfers

After the just concluded transfer window, my news villa looks at the top five transfers of the summer.
1.paul pogba.
FROM: Juventus
TO:       Manchester united
FEE:     £89m

The former Juventus star who was linked to the likes of Real madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester city ended up at the red side of manchester, when Manchester united stroke a world record deal to bring back the frenchman to the club. After leaving the club in 2012, Pogba has gone on to be one of the finest mid fielders in world football.

2.Gonzalo Higuain.
FROM: Napoli
TO:       Juventus
FEE:     £75m

This deal raised some eye brows when Juventus broke their transfer record to bring the former Napoli star to Turin. Though it was rumoured that Juventus used the money they got from pogba's deal to fund for their new star. The fee was questioned due to his age, but at 28, the argentine still remains one of the best goal scorers in the game.
Gonzalo Higuain scored 38 goals in all competitions or Napoli during the 2015/16 season.

3.John Stones
FROM: Everton
TO:       Manchester united
FEE:      £47m

The former Merseyside star who was wanted by Jose mournho at Chelsea ended up at manchester city, when City agreed to make the English defender the most expensive defender in English football.

Andre Gomes.
FROM:  Valencia
TO:         Barcelona
FEE:       £45m

The portugese star moved from valencia to the spanish champions after winning the Euros 2016. Though the former Valencia star appeared on Goal's 2015/16 la liga worst eleven, but will be hoping to be back at his best and help Barcelona win trophies.

5.David luiz
FROM:   PSG
TO:         Chelsea
FEE:        £38m

Chelsea were forced to pay £38m on deadline day for their former defender who left the club for £40m two years ago, due to lack of defensive options. The presence of the brazilian will booster chelsea's defensive strength. The 29 year old will be hoping to be back at his best and help Chelsea win trophies.
