IMSU Gears Up For Hult Prize Grand Finale - Over 15 Teams Set To Compete For The $1,000,000 Prize

The stage is set, the teams raring to go and the judges too as the biggest idea-rewarding contest - the Hult Prize oncampus contest, IMSU - is set to hold her grand finale on the 12th of December, 2018.

The Hult Prize Oncampus Challenge sponsored by the UN and the Hult International Business School and founded in 2009 is an annual international contest that focuses on launching disruptive social enterprises that are impact centered, profit-minded and market driven.

Over 15 teams in IMSU will compete at the IMSU finale for a chance to progress to the regionals and inch closer to the 1million dollars winner's prize money. The IMSU teams include Team LussHub, Team Dynamic, Team Ultimate, Team JOMACHI, Team BIC, Team M.E.E.T, Team MEDIC.

These IMSU teams will present their ideas before a high-power team of judges that include Nnanyelugo Aham-Anyanwu, lecturer of the dept. of Computer Science IMSU (Ph.D); Special Assistant to Imo State Government on Job Creation and Employment Remy Chukwunyere; US Certified Business Disruption Strategist/Consultant and Conference Speaker Jephter Akaehie; award winning and one of the top 10 gospel artiste in Nigeria Joseph Adesoji amongst others.

This year's edition of the Hult Prize contest is in line with the UN 2018 Global Challenge and is centered on youth unemployment of which the winning idea should be able to create 10,000 jobs in 10 years.

The grand finale of IMSU Hult Prize Oncampus contest will be held at Forward Africa, Plot 3 Okohia Layout, by Ideal Suites Junction, World Bank, Owerri.
