BREAKING: IMSU Second Semester Schedule of events and exam date adjusted, to commence "No payment", " No examination " policy

Recall that Infoscope Media informed the University Community of the soon to be released memo? The memo has been released though with adjustments made to the Second Semester 2017/2018 Academic Session Schedule of Events as well as examination date.

Quite shocking also is the fact that the University is set to commence the "No payment", No examination" policy for her Second Semester exams for the 2017/2018 Academic Session for both indigenes and non-indigenes of Imo State University, Owerri.
Below is a detailed information of what the memo says.

SUBJECT: ADJUSTMENT ON THE CALENDAR OF EVENTS IN 2ND SEMESTER 2017/2018 ACADEMIC SESSION FOR, "NO PAYMENT", " NO EXAMINATION" POLICY.

This is to notify the University Community of an adjustment to the Calendar of Events in the Second Semester 2017/2018 Academic Session.


  1. Lectures will end on June 29, 2018 for all students.
  2. There will be ONE WEEK BREAK, starting from June 30-July 7, 2108.
  3. This is to enable all students pay up to date, their Ancillary fees for Imo indigenes   and Tuition fees and Ancillary charges for Non-Imo indigenes. Revision for Second Semester Examination begins on July 8 and ends on July 15, 2018.
  4.  The Second Semester Examination for 2017/2018 Academic Session will commence on July 16 and ends in August 17, 2018 for all students
