Imsu ​Faculty of Humanities Inaugurates her excos for the Second Republic​ Yesterday

Yesterday, Wednesday 25th April, 2018, the Faculty of Humanities inaugurated her executives for the Second Republic.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the Law Theatre, lecture hall 2 played host to dignitaries outside the state including Dr. Mrs Apakama from Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU), Hon. Sir. Dr. Paschal Obi, a house of reps member hopeful of Ideato South, North Federal Constituency as well as academicians of the host institution as the Dean of the faculty, Prof. U.D. Anyanwu;  Prof. Emeka Velen Obinna amongst others.

The Second Republic excos led by Comr. Uwandu Bright with Comr. Okpara Blessing as  Vice President.
Other excos formally handed the "baton of service" include:

— Comr. Nnodi Chiemela (Director of Welfare)

— Comr. Mbaegbu Chidalu (Director of Sports)

— Comr. Ezeh Raphael (Director of Socials 1)

— Comr. Duru Ifeanyichukwu (Director of Information)

— Comr. Uregbulam Favour (Financial Secretary)

— Comr. Iroegbu Lillian (Secretary General)

— Comr. Njoku Justice (Director of Environment)

— Comr. Ijendu Judith (Director of Socials 2)

— Comr. Agbim Nzubechi (Treasurer).

Prof. Emeka Velen Obinna speaking at the event today admonished the just inaugurated excos to do that which they were voted for and to fulfil their promises.

He also advised them against seeing their offices and position as an avenue to extort money from students.

It is worthy of note that the past republic (First Republic) was led by the able Comr. Franklin.
