FUTO HOSTEL OCCUPANTS LAMENT AS THE GEN OPERATOR PUTS OFF THE HOSTEL GENERATOR BEFORE THE NORMAL TIME

FUTO Students, Hostel Occupants lament as the Gen Operator puts off the Hostel generator by 10:00pm instead of 12:00am yesterday.

The terrain of the Hostel went total blackout at exactly 10:00pm yesterday as operator puts of the Hostel generator 2hours before the proper time.

Since yesterday, FUTO Hostel Occupants has been complaining owing to the fact that the couldn't use the light last night to do anything reasonable.
Reports reaching our desk states that the Operator has been doing this since Monday 22nd January, 2018, when all hostels were opened.

Some students said that the Operator did not only put it off by 10:00pm but also powered the hostels by 7:40pm which is also a wrong time, thereby giving them power for approximately 2hrs 20minutes.

"What then is the use of living in the hostel when there is limited time for electricity".... Some students lamented.

We call on to the SUG Director of Welfare to take immediate action as regards the improper restoration & disruption of power at FUTO hostels.
