THE NUTRITIVE VALUE OF PALM KERNEL CAKE DURING GROWING STAGES IN THE NIGERIAN LOCAL CHICKEN.

Conclusion:

PKC, a cheap and locally available feed ingredient could be safely and economically added up to 20 & 25% levels in the diets of Nigerian local chick and grower chicken respectively without any adverse effect on their hematology, performance and economy, but AND of DM, CP, CF fat & minerals were significantly decreased (P< 0.05) due to its fibre contents.
