SSANU, NASU & NAAT TO RESUME INDEFINITE STRIKE ACTION FROM MONDAY 4TH DECEMBER

The Joint Action Committee (All Non Teaching Staffs) has instructed their members to embark on an Industrial action from Monday 4th December, 2017.

This was drafted according to the letter signed by the SSANU Chairman, Comr. Samson Chijioke, NASU Chairman, Comr. Chris Ani, & NAAT Chairman, Comr. Sani Sulieman.

The Strike was Prompted as a result of the Federal Government's inability to explain the criteria for the disbursement of the N23 billion released by the FG to the university unions which the Joint Action Committee claimed was meant for the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU while only “pittance” was allocated to the three non teaching staff unions.

From the letrer — The deadline has elapsed and there hasn't been any response from FG.
You are therefore directed to resume the suspended indefinite strike action as from 12 midnight, Sunday 3rd December, 2017.
During this period, the strike shall be total and comprehensive.”
