JAMB: Over 1.237 million registered Candidates, 678 CBT Centers Predicted for Use

                
JAMB Boss has announced that over 1.237 million applicants has submitted their application to the board for the 2017 UTME.

He said "with the population, the board would make use of 678 CBT Centers across the Country for the conduct of the 2017 UTME compared to last year's own which was 650 CBT Centers. Though the board has estimated 1.5 million candidates for the 2017 UTME.

He further revealed that JAMB is collaborating with the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas Producing Company to air lift candidates in Riverine areas to their respective CBT Centers.

Also the reason while JAMB decided to capture all Candidate's ten fingers in biometric registration was to monitor and prevent multiple registration as noticed in previous years registration process.
