It was not a gathering for mourning but that of celebration for a life well lived as IMSU lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Martin Onuh laid to rest today his mother aged 109.
The glamorous ceremony which held in Obowo, Imo state began with a burial mass at the St. Mary's Catholic Parish, Amuzi Ikenanzizi, Obowo and was followed immediately with a reception at their home town in Amuzi, Obowo.
Joining in the celebration of life today were the high and mighty in Obowo LGA and beyond as well as friends and lecturers alike namely IMSU Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration Prof. B.E.B. Nwoke, former Director of Research and Linkages IMSU Prof. Obinna, Obowo House of Representatives rep. Hon. Barr. Kenneddy Ibeh, amongst others.
Federation of Obowo Students (FEDOS) IMSU led by the president Comr. Chinweoke Uba, in company of some excos namely the Financial Secretary Comr. Ebuka Nwokorie Cletus, Treasurer Comr. Ijeoma, Director of Socials Comr. Chigozie also joined her lecturer in the making of merry.
Other students reps include students from the Faculty of Agriculture IMSU.
Late Ezinne Roseline Ahumma Onuh, 109 is survived by 6 children, 5 daughters-in-law, 26 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a son-in-law and 2 grand sons-in-law.
