JAMB TO REDUCE NUMBER OF UTME QUESTIONS AND TIME DURATION


The management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board also said during the Strategic planning retreat on Supervision and evaluation for the 2017 UTME that they would change the procedures and time for the 2017 UTME.

The board said that the are going to cut out questions for prospective courses of choice......
For Use of English, they are looking at setting 60 questions instead of the 100 questions it use to be.
Then for other questions, they are going to set 40 questions each instead of 50.

The JAMB Registra further stated that the 2017 UTME questions would be uploaded five (5) minutes to the examination to check malpractice questions and leakage. He also said that as for the 2017 UTME, they are going to reduce the examination duration to two (2) hours instead of the 3-hrs timing.

The board also said that about 300,000 Candidates would take the Mock examination and it would be used to test it's new technology and adoption.
