JAMB 2017: Canndidates to choose one Public University during Registration

The Mangement of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has announced that Applicants for the 2017 UTME will not be able to choose two (2) public universities.

In her Twitter handler,  Canndidates can select NCE as their choice up to three times: 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice......But they are not allowed to select two (2) public universities as their choice. If Applicants select public universities as their degree awarding Institution, they are also allowed to select a private degree awarding Institution as another choice.

According to JAMB PRO, Mr Benjamin, he said:  "the Board took this decision because canndidates hardly get admission into their 2nd and 3rd choice universities. They could also choose as many Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges. We discovered it's of no use choosing a University as a second choice when in the actual sense, they can't even accommodate all their first choices".....he said
