Nana Dankwa ELECTED 2016 GHANA


Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo who has won the 2016 Ghana Presidential elections against the incumbent President, John Mahama.

Elected President Akufo-Addo defeated President John Mahama by 53.8 percent to 44.4 percent. The electoral commissioner Charlotte Osei disclosed this lately on Friday, 9th December.

The Supporters of the President elect Cheered, danced, celebrated and set-off fireworks in regard to his victory.

After the statement from the electoral chairman, the incumbent President called him to offer his heart felt wishes, thereafter he spoke to his supporters.

"I make this solemn pledge to you tonight: I will not let you down. I will do all in my power to live up to your hopes and expectations," he said.
