Words Of Wisdom that will benefit You

Permit me to give you these words of wisdom sent to me. It will also be a great blessing to you. Please read and meditate on them:

1. ON EARNING:
Never depend on single income. Make investment to create a second chance.

2. ON SPENDING:
If you buy things you do not need, soon you will have to sell things you need.

3. ON SAVINGS:
Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving.

4. ON TAKING RISK:
Never test the depth of a river with both feet.

5. ON INVESTMENT:
Do not put all eggs in one basket.

6. ON EXPECTATIONS:
Honesty is a very expensive gift. Do not expect it from cheap people.

7. IF YOU are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present. Past is a waste paper. Present is a newspaper and future is a question paper.

8. WHEN bad things happen in your life you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you or you can let it strengthen you.

9. EMPTY pockets teach you a million things in life but full pockets spoil you in a million ways.

10. OUR EYES are in the front because it is more important to look ahead than to look back.

11. WE USED a pencil when we were small but now we use pens... do you know why? Because mistakes in childhood can be erased but not now.
So read and write carefully otherwise life will be a tissue paper.

Nigerian International Voted player of the Month

The 25 year old Nigerian international who is being deployed as wing back in Conte's favoured 3-4-3 formation has been voted player of the month by the fans after strings of sublime display for the London side in the month of november. 

  Victor moses who helped chelsea to a seventh consecutive victory in the premier league with his match winning goal in their 2-1 win against Totteham last saturday won the award ahead of Sigurdsson, sergio Aguero, Nordin Amrabat and matts Philip with close to half of th total votes.
    Moses has also been in good form for country scoring twice in their last qualifying game against algeria.

Law Makers to Propose a Ban on importation of Tokunbo Cars

The Senate Committee on Privatization, has proposed a ban on the importation of used cars.

The chairman of the committee, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce declared during an oversight visit to the assembly plant of Volkswagen of Nigeria Automobile Limited in Lagos.

Senator Bruce encouraged local manufacturers to make affordable and energy-efficient cars for all Nigerian citizens.

He also stated that there should be more than one million made-in-Nigeria cars readily available on demand annually.

Bruce said: “We want about one million cars a year. Every working class individual should have a brand-new car. I will propose a ban on the importation of 'USED' cars; but first, every Nigerian should be able to buy a brand new car in 10 seconds after we put up the ban, not ban and wait for two years.

“Our local car manufacturers should make provision for down payment of N250,000 and N30,000 monthly instalments and the vehicle should be fully insured for seven years.

If Your Preferred Institution is Yet to Officially Announce her 2016/2017 Admission List, Here's What To Do!

We understand that many schools are yet to release the names of admitted students for the 2016/2017 academic session.

In meeting up with the November 30th deadline earlier giving by JAMB for all admission process to be concluded. Something needs to be looked at, most varsities have already sent the names of candidates considered for admission to JAMB for confirmation and approval which JAMB is expected to upload on its portal.

This implies that as though many schools are yet to officially announce their admission list to their prospective canndidates, jamb should have uploaded successful candidates' name on it's portal jamb.org.ng . 

We therefore advice credible applicants for the 2016/2017 admissions to log on to JAMB portal and check their admission status instead of passing through a lot of Over thinking.....w

When the portal show's "Admitted!!", you will now know that your admission application was successful....... As though most school's won't meet up with the 30th November deadline due to one thing or the other.

 The Manchester united centre back picked up a knock in his ankle ligament in the 4-0 defeat to chelsea at stamford bridge.
   The Ivory Coast intenational who missed their international game fews weeks ago due to the injury,  have had sources confirmed that he his back training with his manchester united team mates in a bid to continue is rehabilitation.
  United boss Jose mourinho has also confirmed that the former Villareal man will be back before Christmas and will travel with Cote d' voire in january for the African cup of nations.
   Eric Bailly who before the injury has been a constant figure in Jose mouriho's starting XI with strings of good display.

Forget Table!... why manchester united are favourites.

  The  English premier league returns this weekend with Manchester united welcoming Arsenal during lunch time  (12:45pm). But all statistics  shows that Jose Mourinho's men are favourites to win this encounter and united fans are very optimistic of getting a consecutive victory in the premier league since August.
 United  have the ability  of halting the gunners unbeaten run, with Arsenal on a ten game unbeaten run only loosing to Liverpool on their campaingn's opener.
  Though the gunners are six points ahead of their weekend rival, but every manchester united's manager have got the better of Arsene Wenger in their first  game with David Moyes winning 1-0 at old trafford and Louis Van gaal winning 2-1 at the emirates.
 Old trafford has also been a nightmare venue for the gunners and might continue this weekend with the gunners last win at the theatre of dreams dated back to 2002.
  Jose mourinho rivalry with Arsene wenger is well known but the new United Gaffer has the edge when it comes with statistics with the Arsenal boss yet to win any and managing five draws in 13  encounters.

Otokoto finally executed

Do you remember the infamous ‘Otokoto’ saga? I recall the whole shocking drama like it was yesterday.

Twenty years after the inglorious Otokoto saga, which set Owerri, the Imo State Capital on fire, over the gruesome beheading of little Ikechukwu Okonkwo at the then Otokoto hotel, along Amakohia in Owerri, the proprietor of the said hotel, Chief Vincent Duru (alias Otokoto) has reportedly been hanged in the prison. He met the hangman last Sunday, report said.

A source informed Nigeria Newspoint, that Chief Otokoto, who was sentenced to death by hanging by an Imo State High Court in 1996 presided over then by Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme, was allegedly hanged last Sunday after the Imo State government reportedly approved the execution warrant. It was not confirmed who in particular signed the death warrant as at press time.

It could be recalled, that the heartless murder of little boy, Okonkwo in 1996 triggered massive uprising by the residents of Owerri, the state capital, which resulted to the arrest of Chief Otokoto and his son, Obicheozor, in connection with the heinous crime which was ascribed to rituals at the time. Okonkwo was beheaded under a palm tree, but unknown to the killers, there was a palmwine tapper high up the tree when the killing was taking place. It was this eyewitness who fingered the killers, who in turn identified Chief Duru and his son as their sponsors.

Investigations carried out then revealed that the then famous Otokoto hotel was housing many shallow graves, which led to the masses setting the hotel on fire while government locked up the premises. The street where the hotel was located was named after the murdered boy, Ikechukwu Okonkwo.

Chief Otokoto and his son were nabbed and after two years of strenuous legal trials, the court condemned the duo to death by hanging. His son, Obicheozor was then executed among other culprits by firing squad.

The death sentence was appealed by the accused persons and after 18 years of legal fireworks, the appellant court upheld the judgment of the lower court.

Chief Duru (Otokoto) had been remanded at the Port-Harcourt Federal Prison, but was said to have been finally executed last Sunday after the state government was said to have given consent for the Umudim Community in Ikeduru Local Government Area born business mogul, who owned the then Otokoto Pharmacy at Douglas Road in Owerri, to be hanged.

Nigeria Newspoint investigation further revealed that Imolites who heard of the recent reported execution of Chief Duru who was over 60 years by the time he was jailed, expressed surprise that he was still alive after several reports and speculations that he had long been hanged in the prison.

PROCEDURE FOR: ADMISSION LETTER PRINTING

1. You shall be required to create a profile via the Sign Up (New User) Page if you are a new user. For existing users, simply type in your login details. To create your profile, you will provide your valid email address, surname, first name, Mobile No, State and LGA of Origin and password, then click on the Sign Up button. Each candidate is entitled to only one profile.

2. Subsequently, you shall use your email address and Password to Sign In

3. Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page where you will see all available services.

4. Select “Print Admission Letter”. This is available on the side bar or on the Home page

5. Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.

6. Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note the Transaction ID displayed in bold in red. The Transaction ID is useful for all future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.

7. Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank and Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.

8. On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.

9. The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Click on the Continue button.

10. Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following: a. Year of Exam and b. JAMB Registration Number

After entering the information correctly, you can now print the Result Slip as shown on screen.

Hazard on fire as five star chelsea demolish Everton

The belgium international was on target twice in their 5-0 in against Everton. Hazard did brilliantly to cut in from the left and struck a powerful shot at the bottom corner to give chelsea the lead on the 19th minute, and also getting his second with a spectacular effort 11 minutes after the break.
 Marcus Alonso also opened his Chelsea account with Diego Costa and Pedro also on target in a 5-0 riot at stamford bridge.
   This means that Eden Hazard has now scored in four successive league games for the first time in his career.

Wenger Reveals he's got no plan B option for any player

Just because Olivier Giroud came off the bench to score twice at Sunderland last weekend, it doesn’t make him a 'Plan B'.
That’s because no Arsenal player is considered by Arsène Wenger as anything but a top-class performer who can have an impact from the start of a game - or from the bench.
"There is no Plan B in any squad, I never thought about my players like that," said the boss. "The team who is the most effective for the next game, that’s what you pick and I consider everyone as a regular player.

The Internet has changed our lives considerably. As technology grows and innovates, our daily lives change. Gone are the days that we need a digital camera, pager, or even a personal computer. All we need is our simple smartphone, and with that innovation there was the death of many industries. The job market is also responsive to these changes, and will tailor and trim the available positions based off technology fluctuations. And if you are looking for a college degree that will withstand the changing market, I encourage you to read on!  These college degrees and jobs will always be in demand.

1. Sales Management – Business Administration

For the most part, sales is a relatively stable job. While many traditional sales jobs have been replaced, a resilient salesperson will find another industry to sell in. An education in sales management will give you the foundation to move with the technology sector, and allow you flexibility in your career path.

2. Healthcare Administration
Even if the robots come in, we still have humans. And humans need health care. This field is constantly evolving, and will require a well educated task force to accommodate our growing population. Innovative leaders are needed to give us a wide array of benefits, and to keep our society well and healthy.

3. Finance
Everyone has money, and everyone needs a way to manage it. An education in finance will also give you relative job flexibility, as you can work in banking, corporate, or personal finance fields. A general money management degree is always in demand, and if you can work with the growing technology you are to have stability and success.

4. Engineering

Because who will build the software and robots? Engineering is a highly stable career. Technology is built by talented engineers, and we will need a highly educated taskforce to help us build. There are many different aspects of engineering, and its coursework is sure to give you a unique and educated view into your career.  Specifically Mechatronics engineering, computer science or electrical engineers will be highly in demand for a workforce that will consist mostly of technology and software.

5. Psychology

Because everyone needs a therapist these days. As the millennial population grows older, so will our egos and need for counsel. Seriously, who can we talk to when we find out our beloved bank teller has been replaced by a cold hard ATM machine?

6. Statistics And Mathematics
Big data is the next big thing. To truly analyze and understand the amount of automation and tracking in our daily lives and build upon them, we need master statisticians. Marketing and consulting positions are requiring statistical backgrounds – as we are amassing more and more data and we need more people to break it down. Statisticians will always be in demand as we just start to brush the surface of what numbers mean and can do to better our lives.

7. Entrepreneurship – Business Administration
Because who will make businesses out of technologies? Entrepreneurship is a skill that will keep our nation innovative. As the world changes, we need leaders who will guide us through those changes – and those are entrepreneurs.

8. Biology/Pre-Medicine
The need for medicine will never go away. Doctors are the most fundamental positions within our society. People will never stop needing care and medicine. In fact, the field will grow as the population grows and technology grows to further medicine.

9. Information Technology
Because someone has to fix the machines. Information technology will be leading field in the future, for it is above the curve in terms of development. Statistics show the requirement IT is playing in growing businesses, and a good handle on this career will lead to much success as it is truly a universally applicable skill.

10. Any Type Of Management
Because someone has to lead the machines. Management skills are becoming a trademark of our generation, as technology shifts the job sector from service oriented to management oriented. The need for flexible and well trained managers will help us grow the economy, and it is an undeniable skill to learn. Management skills and training is essential for the future. In the future we may very well all be managers of some sorts as medial labor is becoming more and more automated. Managers will be the ones in charge of our future.

5 Degree certificates that will be useless in 20 years to come.

Do you remember when futuristic movies would show a future full of robots? Well, that future isn’t so far away. The robots are coming, and they will take our jobs. The technological revolution we are in is not stopping anytime soon, and automation is a huge part of its growth. We have witnessed this change before, and that was the Industrial Revolution. The solution was creating a more educated workforce to handle more complex issues, and again our solution to this issue lies in education. When choosing a college degree, it is important to be cognizant of the changing world and its changing demands. And so, I have found 5 college degrees that will be sure to be obsolete with the advent of technology.

1. Accounting Degree
Basically, if Quickbooks can do it – you don’t really need your accountant. More and more companies are coming up with ways to do taxes online – from Turbo Tax to H & R Block. In house accounting is only truly necessary for larger companies, and tax accounting for most individuals can be done online directly. The changing course of this career requires less number crunching and more insight. A good alternative to this degree is finance, where you can be more dynamic in your career.

2. Hospitality and Tourism Degree
You know those kiosks that you check in to at the airport? That is the projected future of hotels. Majoring in hospitality and tourism is a mistake, because most of that industry can easily be replaced by technology. The need for hotel desk agents, travel agents, and more are truly dwindling.

3. Paralegal Degree
Most of the duties of a paralegal can easily be done by a computer these days. Filing and research can easily be done online, and does not require a human touch. Law itself can be replaced by technology, so paralegal studies is the obvious first cut to the industry.

4. Pharmacy Degree
Your prescription can be filled by a robot. That is a simple idea to grasp. More and more drugstores are turning to this idea of an automatic pick up or drop off, and there is no real need for a pharmacist in this world. Compounding is still relatively used, but as big pharmaceuticals dominate the playing field – the need for compounding will dwindle as well. Go big and become a doctor instead, as this job is very replaceable.

5. Broadcast Communications Degree
Broadcast is an ever changing field. The TV is no longer the main news outlet, and a degree in broadcast communications focuses on an outdated technology. Communication efforts are changing daily, from Snapchat to Facebook – we get our news in a very different way these days.

Gareth said: “The photo was both of our ideas. We wanted to do something a bit different. Nobody knew about it except the photographer.
He found it hilarious when we told him what we wanted before the big day – he loved it.We got all our ‘normal’ photos out the way and then when everyone else was being seated snuck off for this one.
We were in absolute hysterics. I’m glad you couldn’t see her face and I had my back to my camera because we could not stop laughing. Toni spent ages just staring at the floor giggling like a schoolgirl.

However, not everyone liked the idea and when the couple shared their photoshoot on social media it immeditely backfired.


The image has been removed from Facebook as someone reported it, some critics branded it as porn and even sent nasty comments to the pair.

Nevertheless, family members and friends found the photos hilarious and supported the daredevil spouses.

Explaining herself Toni said: “Gareth keep saying it is the most controversial thing I will ever post on Facebook. You wouldn’t believe all the comments and messages I’ve had.

We thought we might have an issue with his stepdad but he loved it and shared it with all his friends. We never expected strangers to get involved.

People have told us it’s disgusting, that we’ve lost the plot or have missed what a wedding is supposed to be about. Some have even called it porn. You’d think they’d never seen a willy before.

We’re a couple who like to have fun and so that’s what our wedding was about. And I enjoyed that photo more than any of the others because we could be ourselves and have a laugh.

All the other photos were a bit boring and really awkward. They look so beautiful but it is weird having to stand in a line with all these people and pose and smile.

Now we’ve got something for the wedding album that’ll be making us laugh for the rest of our lives and something we’ll definitely never forget.

Some stranger sent me a message after seeing the photo calling into question my mothering but if my kids see that photo when they’re older and DON’T laugh then I’ve brought them up wrong.”

Luiz reveals secret behind Chelsea cleansheets

Since when Chelsea manager Atonio conte, switched to the 3-4-3 system, chelsea have won matches without conceding  goals. After the victory against Southampton on sunday, David Luiz spoke to Chelsea Tv about their defensive form.
‘It’s everybody, it’s not just the three at the back that don’t concede goals, it’s the mentality of the team when you don’t have the ball,’ the Brazilian explained.

For the incoming students......FUTO ACCOMODATION WORRIES SOLVED

After the worries of gaining admission into tertiary institution (FUTO), those who were sucessfull are now worried about where they will stay.
   My news villa has taken time to analyze the accomodations available.

1. Inside Campus.
This consists of all hostels in the school campus.
For the boys hostel we have hall A, hall B,  and hall E (the cleanest hostel among the boys hostels. And the only ordinary hostel with w.c system in their toilets).
For the girls hostel, we have hall c (the cleaner of the two) and hall d.

Advantages
Nearness to school, school market, school park, library, church etc.
The halls are near to each other
Cheap -fee= 10,500

Disadvantages
Lack of privacy
High record of theft.
Sometimes light problem.

Also we have mixed halls
1. NDDC hostel (boys and girls) - fee= 40,000

Advantages
More comfortable than the normal school hostels
No or less light issue

Disadvantages
Expensive
Inability to cook
Isolated from other hostels
Far from library, church etc.

Generally, in terms of academic excellence, the school hostel is preferable

2. Off Campus
You can also stay in hostels that are away from the school. The villages which they are located include;

Eziobodo (the busiest)
Umuchima
Ihiagwa
Obinze

Advantages
Privacy
Comfortability

Disadvantages
Expensive
High record of poor results due to increased social life.
Far from the school.
High rate of robbery

9 People disclosed dead in Borno Explosion

Nine people have been killed in an explosion this morning along Gubio road in Borno State, just before a military checkpoint.

The Public Relations Officer of the Borno Police Command, DSP Victor Isuku, disclosed this incidence.

Earlier report states that a van with nine persons on board suddenly emerged from a bush path to join the road to Gubio town.

The Van exploded killing all the persons on board.

World Cup Designer Dies @ 95

The artist who designed the World Cup trophy, Silvio Gazzaniga has kicked the bucket @ 95. 

Silvio's son, Giorgio, said that it was a peaceful death, that his father passed away in his sleep at home in Milan. Adding that his father had been in the hospital recently for certain minor ailments.

FIFA received 53 proposals from seven different countries for a new trophy, before opting for Gazzaniga's design.

"I designed it to reward heroism," Silvio Gazzaniga said in a 2002 interview with The Associated Press. "But not superhuman heroism. It's not a conventional cup."

Giorgio Gazzaniga said that his father knew his design couldn't be understood on paper, so he brought a plaster model to show FIFA.

"The jury understood right away that it was a very photogenic cup," Giorgio Gazzaniga said that the 18-carat solid gold trophy(6kg)(13 Pounds) is easy to lift and beautiful when raised. He created a universal trophy."

"But as compensation he gained more work on other cups," his son said. "He became Mr. Cups."

Silvio Gazzaniga also designed the UEFA Cup, European Super Cup and many other international trophies

Above all he would be remembered for the World Cup.
