This was a game which both teams could have scored more goals. It started in an impressive style with man city having a lot of the ball in the opening stages. The lead was soon doubled when kelechi Iheanacho tapped in from close range after a Kevin de bruyne shot rebounded off the post. Manchester united soon came alive in the game when zlatan Ibrahimovic capitalized on Bravo's inability to hold the ball from a long range Wayne Rooney free kick. Zlatan could have drawn level during stoppage time of first half when his tame shot was cleared off the line.  Though united had more opportunities in the second half but the game was destined o settle in favour of city.
