Just in: Panick as two Imo Stars cheat death, escape with minor injuries

Two students of Imo State University, Owerri (names withheld) cheated death and escaped what would have been a fatal accident, with minor injuries.

The accident occurred at IMSU Backgate, Okwu-Uratta junction around 10: 45pm today when a Passat car on a dangerous speed skidded off its lane and ran into two Imo Stars who were reported to be on their way to a vigil.

The driver,identified as Uche, who we learnt owns a Cybercafe at IMSU Junction hit one of the students who somersaulted severally before landing on his face
While one of the students, who happened to be in 200 level of Industrial Mathematics department escaped unhurt, the other, a 300 level student of Education Government, sustained minor injuries including a bruised jaw and twisted ankle.

The driver owing to intervention from onlookers saw to the treatment of the victim - purchase of drugs. See pictures below..
