Breaking News: NANS Zone B dissolves Enugu State JCC

Breaking News: NANS Zone B dissolves Enugu State JCC

NANS Zone B (South south & South East) dissolves Enugu State Joint Campus Committee due to the high level of gross misconduct & lack of leadership charisma as reported to the Secretariat on Thursday 17th May, 2018.

This was made known to the Infoscope Media through the NANS Zone B coordinator, Comr. Godson Bishop in a letter which he published early this morning.

In the letter, he addressed to the NANS Zone B Secretary General, Comr. Victor C. Ezenagu.
Reads thus:

"With reference to the later dated 17th May, 2018, from the members of the Joint Campus Committee of Enugu State with 10 at of 13 members appending their signatures and passing vote of no confidence in the chairman of NANS JCC, Comr. Ezeja Joshua.

From the letter addressed to me the NANS Zone B Coordinator, it is obvious that the leadership of the committee is not competent enough to discharge the duties assigned to them. Any delay in doing the needful may result in breakdown of law & order in the state because both the SUG Presidents in the state are also not comfortable with the Chairman activities in the state.

Based on the above premise, the committee stands dissolved.

The Zone therefore mandate you as the secretary general of NANS Zone B to liase with the NANS Stakeholders of Enugu State to constitute a fresh JCC of Enugu State within the next 48hrs and bring forth the names of the members of the committee for inauguration within the next 14days."

Yours in struggle for the emancipation of Nigerian Students...

I lack enough words to express my gratitude to the whole Education Students.

I never believed that Education students will come in mass to protect their interest the way they did today.

On this note, i stand to assure Esarians that their trust will not be betrayed.

I promise to leave an indelible mark in the Faculty of education at the end of my tenure.

I stand to concretize that all promises must be kept.

Special thanks to all the students and lecturers of the faculty that stood to ensure a free and fair election.

Education Government, IMSU breaks 15 years jinx as Comr. Nnamdi Joseph Collins emerges president Education Students Association (ESA) IMSU

(President-Elect ESA, Comr. Nnamdi Joseph Collins aka Success)

Duru Victor reporting...

History was made in IMSU as Comr. Nnamdi Joseph Collins aka Success emerged President Education Students Association (ESA) IMSU in a keenly contested election.
The just concluded election which witnessed postponement twice, coupled with the mind games and dramas that go with elections  will no doubt go down in history as one that shook the campus community to its foundation.

The President- Elect, Comr. Nnamdi Joseph Collins (aka Success) slugged it out with two other aspirants namely Comr. Edoxiem Bright (aka British) of Education Accountancy and Comr. Uba (aka Uba) of Library and Information Science  and emerged with a landslide margin.

It is noteworthy that the winner, Comr. Success happened to be from Education Government department. This invariably breaks the hoax which has seen Education Government department not produce a President in the Faculty elections for 15 years!

Below is a breakdown of the results from the Faculty election for the various positions

What's happening to our world...? An upcoming female star blogger cries out to Linda Ikeji

My dear mentor Aunty Linda, with tears in my eyes and with a broken heart I write.
I have been quiet for some days since I heard that you got pregnant out of wedlock.

I know its every woman's dream to have a child she can call her own.
Seeing you everyday makes me work hard so I can be the future Linda Ikeji, but seeing you today, I don't know what the future holds.

The day you got engaged, I was so happy that I didn't just post it on my blog, I also posted it on my Instagram and WhatsApp, telling my friends that my mentor is engaged which means I will get married too.

You spoke on feminism, which I took as a lifestyle and this is what I got in return, getting pregnant out of wedlock.

You spoke on celibacy, I stood firm on it.

Aunty Linda should I still dream of meeting you when I'm 20yrs?

Should I still dream of becoming the future Linda Ikeji?

What hope and confidence have you given us?

To all the feminist and the girls who wants to be like you, what is their hope?

Those who speak good of you, who will always pick up a fight with their friends just to defend you, what morale do we have again?

Please Aunty Linda put a smile on my face and face of other girls out there by telling us that you are legally married. Thanks

JUST IN: A FUTO Bus has been involved in a Ghastly Accident

JUST IN: A FUTO Bus has been involved in a Ghastly Accident

On Friday 18th May, 2018, the students of Federal University of Technology, Owerri were saved through God's grace from a Ghastly accident.

The department of Urban & Regional Planning hired a FUTO bus to attend the burial of a Lecturer's Father @ Umuahia, Abia State.

Down a hill, the bus driver suddenly lost control of the brake and the bus bounced off the ground and returned with a heavier impact and pressure. On landing to the ground, it changed it course & hit the edge of the bridge.

Glory be to God, no loss of life was recorded. 7 persons out of the 10 sustained various degrees of injuries on various parts of their body.

Poor Condition of the road contributed greatly to the ghastly accident as too many gallops on the hilly road couldn't allow the driver to control vehicle that lost it's control.

It is very Paramount that Nigerian Students should be very prayerful at this hour as there's no timetable for sudden events.

Top 3 Reasons People Go Broke Before Month End - How To Avoid It

Top 3 Reasons People Go Broke Before Month End - How To Avoid It

1. Inability to Differentiate between Needs & Wants

Yes, you've got to live a good life but the ability to differentiate per time what is a need and want will keep you from carrying an empty pocket and ending in
desperation and debt.

2. Depending on one source of Income.

Creating a passive income is one of the ways to avoid going broke.
But sadly many people prefer spending money on several things that won’t put money into their pockets.

3. Ignoring Savings

It is very difficult to pull money together and takes a great deal of discipline to achieve.

It is however very easy to blow it all off in just one moment of spending "madness"

First, work at your savings. Cut your expenses starting from now to allow you save at least 10% of your income every month.

Just put it aside and forget it. If you save
10,000 Naira per month, you will have 120,000 Naira in a
year, which is better than having nothing.

Thanks😇😇

Analyzing FUTO 2017/18 SUG Executives, Aluta Restoration regime

On the 20th of November, 2017, the 19th Democratically Elected FUTO Students' Union Government Executives was inaugurated at the popular SOPS Theater in the presence of students, lecturers, deans of schools & FUTO Senate Principal Officers.

The newly elected executives as at that time, claimed that it was going to be a Restoration Regime and called it Aluta Restoration. They promised FUTO students quite a lot of things.

HAVE THE FULFILLED ANY...?

This brings us to the topic of the day.
The Achievements of the FUTO Aluta Restoration Regime honourably led by His Excellency, Comr. Duru Donatus C. (GCSS).
Followed by...

2) Comr. Ifeacho Linda — Vice President

From 20th November, 2017 till date makes about 6 months and these student leaders who came in just after FUTO had her worst session in 2017 as regards the RIOT breakout.
The SUG Aluta Restoration has achieved quite a lot of things. But you know, owing to the fact that most Nigerian Students has lost fate in Students Union Government, they wouldn't actually notice them.

Below are the so far achievements of the FUTO 2017/18 Aluta Restoration Regime from 20th November, 2017 till date...

1) Establishment of a totally transparent Students' Union Government.

2) Visitation of School Hostels to mark all electrical faulty areas and solicitation with the School Management to fix & repair every electrical fault in the school hostels, plumbing fault, and also to fumigate and clean the hostels to enable students experience a more conducive & hostel environment.

13) Introduction of FUTO students association of entertainers to unite artiste, dancers, rappers, singers etc.

17) Strong Synergy between all departmental & faculty Public Relations Officers, Journalists, bloggers & media personnel on campus to enhance information dissemination.

18) Successful organization of the first ever Career & Leadership Summit in collaboration with Akujo Business School LTD.

19) Conduction of the first ever Democratic election of the FUTO Students Society of Journalist.

20) Subsidization of the price of sachet water on campus to further enhance the well being and stable health conditions of FUTO students.

The terrible state of Nekede-Ihiagwa road, Owerri: A Perceived Threat to the Country

The terrible state of Nekede-Ihiagwa road, Owerri: A Perceived Threat to the Country

It is quite disheartening & sacrilegious seeing the road that leads through two great Federal Government Institutions in Imo State, Nigeria, in such a terrible condition.

This is the Nekede-Ihiagwa road. The road that leads through Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri & Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

Trying to analyze the fatal issue on ground, it came to our notice that this Nekede-Ihiagwa road was supposedly worked on some time in 2015/2016 due to the pressure applied by both school's Students' Union Government Executives.
They student leaders at that time had to go on a protest to attract the attention of the IMO State Government to do something to the Nekede-Ihiagwa road.

The State Government heard the cries of the students and gave a certain Road Constructing company the contract.

This is 2018, that is 2years after construction and can you see the present state of the supposed graded & constructed Nekede-Ihiagwa road...?
It is in a worst state when compared to the previous one.

We actually observed that the engineers who worked on that road as at that time, didn't construct drainage system for effective & smooth flow of rainwater on that road or was it later filled with sand by the occupants of that (is this even possible..?)

Now, the conflicting question is who is to be blamed for the continuous terrible state of the Nekede-Ihiagwa road...?
The Construction Engineers or the inhabitants of Nekede & Ihiagwa Community or the State Government...?

MR WRIGHT MAIDEN ESSAY CHALLENGE 2018

MR WRIGHT MAIDEN ESSAY CHALLENGE 2018

Duru Victor Reporting...

The Department of Education Government (popular known as Govstars) through the Office of the Secretary General - Comr. Mr. Wright, with full support of the High Commissioner of the Department, Comr. Harrison and the 6th Republic NAEGOS present to you MR WRIGHT MAIDEN ESSAY CHALLENGE 2018.

It is a record-setting feat as this has never been organised by a department in modern era IMSU. It is unfortunate and fortunate. Unfortunate in the sense that such a remarkable opportunity is not for every student in IMSU and fortunate in that it's exclusively for students who are disciplined in Education Government. This department has surely set the pace for other departments to follow and we at IMSU Infoscope Media enjoin all and sundry concerned to take a cue from this while we give kudos to the department for the concept - They deserve some accolades.

The challenge themed 58 YEARS AFTER INDEPENDENCE: Are Nigeria youths not lazy? as earlier stated is an essay contest open to students of the discipline of Education Government. Registration is absolutely free with lots of prizes to be won including certificates of participation, a trip to Shoprite and a carton of Indomie.

The grand finale is to take place on the 9th of June, 2018.

FUTO School Management embarks on complete road maintenance from today

FUTO School Management embarks on complete road maintenance from today

Today Wednesday 9th May, 2018, the FUTO School management kicked off the maintenance of the Main Road that leads through the School hostels arena to FUTO Market Square.

It is quite clear to everyone that a lot of Pot Holes has been formed on that road and it's close to instigating car accidents.

Due to the Proactiveness of our school management, they have set out to repair the damaged parts of the road to avoid future unwanted occurrences.

They would probably repair all pot hole damaged roads before FUTO Students resume for the Second Semester.
