First  of all, a very BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our freshmen. Its not easy to gain admission into this great Citadel of Learning. You must have really had cool guts to survive.
I must say you are one of the lucky few.

You are now a University student (Literally, you're no longer a Kid) and its time to get serious.
Don't get carried away by the joy of admission and forget where you are. There's going to be a lot of distractions. Your 5.0 GP starts now, do try as much as possible to put your academics first and every other thing will fall in place.

Also,for those that party like there's no tomorrow, NOTICE! It will reflect on your results, you can't eat your cake and have it in FUTO (Party with sense).
There are many activities in school and so many Christian associations you can always belong to but don't forget where you are.
What do i mean??,... If you don't read your books and sleep in church for weeks, you won't pass your exams, its even written in the Bible that faith without work is dead. Heaven helps those that help themselves.

I know I said read your books but don't be a *triangular student*.
A triangular student is one that limits his or herself to just school works and no extra curriculum activities added to his/her schedules.
From lecture hall to laboratory and back to their Hostel/Lodges the same Circle from year to year.

If you conduct a survey in FUTO, you'll find out that most of the best graduating students that FUTO has produced are involved in most of the extra activities in school.

The ability to combine your social life and still make A's is your super power as a student.
Remember all work and no play makes jack a dull boy.

ONCE AGAIN, WELCOME TO FUTO!!!
