THE JOINT ACTION COMMITTEE(SSANU, NASU, NAAT) ARE TO JOIN ASUU STRIKE ON MONDAY

The Non academic staffs of tertiary institutions, also referred to as the Joint Action Committee collectively are to join the ongoing industrial action of Academic staff union of Universities starting from Monday 11th September, 2017.

The Joint Action Committee has concluded to join the ongoing indefinite strike of the Academic staff union of Universities due to the failure on the part of FG to fulfill its own part of the agreement reached in 2009.

As stated by the Chairman of the Joint Action Committee, Comr. Samson Chijioke Ugwoke, "During the Strike, there shall be no provision of services no matter how delicate it may seem to be. Concessions shall not be granted. All our members under respective unions are to stay out of office until further notice as directed by respective Presidents.

The unions under the Joint Action Committee includes the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, the National Association of Academic Technology, NAAT, and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Education & Associated Institutions, NASU.
