Crisis in Makurdi State University Over Killing of Final Year student

Reacting to the illegal and undeserved killing of the Final Year student of  Geography @ Mukurdi State University, Hundreds of Agrieved Students took to the street soliciting the immediate arrest and prosecution of all those involved in the Killing.

The protest caused serious logjam on many Federal highway at lafia-Makurdi.
Efforts by the police to clear the road proved abortive as the protesting Students were too many.

This is actually the second time this protest is occurring, however Tiv youths gathered in Abuja to demand action from the Seat power at federal level.

A youth activist while analysing the Statistics of the Killings from 2013 to 2015, called on President Buhari to take fast action towards these illegal killing of innocent people.

The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom said that "There must be a Solution to this Problem. The Government must come and collaborate with his state to solve this Problem.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Benue State said that anyone cut with illegal arms, must be Arrested!!....
