President Buhari has Sent a 46-man ambassadorial nominees list to the Senate

President Muhammadu Buhari, sent a  list of non-career ambassadorial nominees to the Senate, on Thursday for confirmation.

The list contained 46 people and it was read on the floor of the senate by the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, at Thursday plenary.

Close analysis of the list shows that Lagos State has the highest nominees of three persons while Imo State and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja had no nominee.

Reacting to the development, the Senate Minority Whip and Senator representing FCT, Philip Aduda frowned at the list, saying President Muhammadu Buhari was not fair to the people of Abuja and Imo State who, under the sun and in the rain voted in the government of change, the APC.

He therefore urged Buhari to have a rethink and consider adjusting the list for the people of Abuja and Imo State to have ministerial nominees, non Career ambassadors and other sensitive national portfolio.
